Robert Gehrman, AIA, LEED AP

Principal

An accomplished, hands-on architect, Bob has been an important creative force and collaborative leader at BCT since 1996. His broad background in building typologies, ability to delve into challenging situations, and strong communication and presentation skills are essential to BCT’s success. In addition to his skills as an architect, Bob is responsible for the critical aspects of BCT’s project management, including team coordination, workload scheduling, and maintaining stringent quality control standards.

Bob’s impact extends beyond the studio as well. He is an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, where he teaches classes in the Masters of Science in Real Estate Degree Program, and a member of Morgan State University’s advisory board for the undergraduate and master’s architecture programs. A graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee's elite Leadership Program in 2012, Bob is heavily involved in the community as well. He volunteers for several organizations, including the Neighborhood Design Center and the Incentive Mentoring Program, and serves on the Gutierrez Memorial Fund Board.
